How to plan perfect weekend in New York City

New York City - The hub for Fashion, Art, Commerce, Finance, Theatre, Technology and Entertainment. The first and the obvious thing to do while in New York is to visit the Statue of Liberty! Situated on Liberty Island, the first ferry leaves from the mainland at 8.30 a.m. and the last ferry to leave the mainland is at 5 p.m. The last ferry to leave the island is at 7.45 p.m. Note that these timings are for weekends only. The trip and exploring the island might take you around 3 hours.

These tours are a fun way to explore the fascinating park. Once you are done with exploring the Central Park, walk down or drive down a mile to the Madame Tussauds Museum. It is situated Sixth Avenue. 2 miles away from the IFC Centre lies the International Centre of Photography. Do pay this centre a visit before catching up on the movie. If you are out on a romantic weekend, be sure not to miss the Twilight Cruise. It is a 90 minute cruise ride into the sunset.
